Having tackled the headache of billing management for medical practices, today athenahealth offers a range of services. These include an EHR tool, a patient-communication system and, our favorite, PayerView, which ranks insurers based on denial rates, denial "transparency," and the number of days a doctor has to sit on an "account receivable."
