Mr. King-Shaw's particular talents are very much in demand now, as innovators in healthcare try to navigate the changing landscape in Washington.  Prior to founding his private equity firm in 2005, Mr. King-Shaw served in several government positions, including  Secretary of the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration and Deputy Administrator and Chief Operating Officer of the Centers for  Medicare and Medicaid Services.  President Bush named King-Shaw to the President’s New Freedom Commission on Mental Health in 2002. Mansa specialized in healthcare companies, and Mr. King-Shaw serves as a director of several companies represented here including athenahealth, and BioIQ.
